Costa has signed a four-and-a-half-year contract that will keep him at the club until the summer of 2029.

He will wear the No. 2 shirt for the rest of the 2024-25 season.

Costa is the first signing of the January window for Juventus but is unlikely to be the last. With France striker Randal Kolo Mouhani also set to join from PSG and is expected to undergo a medical with Juve on Thursday. Before joining on loan until the end of the season.

After Gelson Bremer and Juan Cabal suffered lengthy spells on the sidelines with serious injuries. Thiago Motta’s side are looking to bring in a new centre-back this month. Meaning more deals could be in the works.

Juventus are also rumoured to be close to signing Randal Kolo Muani from Paris Saint-Germain. As they look to improve in the second half of a season that has already seen them register 13 draws in 20 matches.
