Agent insists Arsenal filed 34 million pounds for Locatelli. Andrea Damico has confirmed Arsenal are making a £34m bid for Sassuolo midfielder Manuel Locatelli.
The Gunners are widely known to be a huge fan of the 23-year-old who led Italy to Euro 2020. Their first European Championship since 1968.
Nonetheless, they look second to Serie A giants Juventus, with Zebra in favor of Locatelli as well.
But it is understood the Turin club are still unable to offer Sassuolo’s £34million asking price and are looking to a player swap deal instead.
Reports from Italy indicate that Max Allegri’s side are ready to make an offer of £25m plus Nicolo Fajoli.
In the case, Fajoli’s agent Damico has confirmed that Juve. And the Gunners are chasing Locatelli, although the player in charge of him has not been included in the deal. as well
In an interview with Sky Sport Italia, he said: “Juventus want to sign Locatelli. And Arsenal have already made an offer of 40 million euros (34 million pounds).
“But I can’t vouch for you today because Fajoli is not included in the agreement.”
“Massimiliano Allegri wants to see him in training to understand if he will be useful this season.”
