Atletico Madrid eyeing Laporte return to Spain.
Al-Nassr centre-back Aymeric Laporte has emerged as Atletico Madrid’s latest target for defensive reinforcements football.
Atletico Madrid are interested in bringing Al-Nassr defender Aymeric Laporte. The 30 year old back to Spain this summer to replace the departures of Mario Hermoso and Stefan Savic. According to Relevo on Sunday.

Previously played for Athletic Bilbao before moving to Manchester City in January 2018. Before City sold him to Saudi Arabian side Al-Nassr last summer for €25m.
Laporte is reportedly looking to leave Saudi Arabia this summer and has been linked with a move to former club Athletic Bilbao. But the Basque side do not have the budget to bring the player back. With Al-Nassr demanding €25m in compensation for the 30-year-old defender’s move from City last year.
According to Relevo, Atletico Madrid are also considering the possibility of signing Laporte. As the 30-year-old would be an ideal replacement for Hermoso at left centre-back.
Laporte, who joined Manchester City in 2018 has never played for the France senior team. Despite making over 50 appearances for its youth teams.
