Manchester City have signed a one-year contract with veteran goalkeeper Scott Carson. Extend the service life until the summer of 2022.

Carson has officially expired with Derby County this summer. After spending two seasons at Manchester City on loan, City have announced a one-year contract with the 35-year-old goalkeeper to stay at the Etihad Stadium. for the third year
The goalkeeper, who made four appearances for England between 2007 and 2011, didn’t feature for Manchester City in his first season. He having made his debut last season in a 4-0 win over Newcastle. Three of which Pep Guardiola’s team has already guaranteed the Premier League title.
For Carson, Pep was pulled into the team as a third hand. With a loan deal for the 2019-20 season and then agreeing to extend the loan for another season. Which Derby County will not interfere, despite being the last year of the former Liverpool goalkeeper’s contract.
